I am a U.S. citizen with a valid birth certificate, which I will present on demand. My wife and I have five children, also U.S. citizens. I graduated from high school in Lincoln County, Nevada. I am an Eagle Scout and a veteran of the Idaho Army National Guard in artillery. Currently, I am a licensed professional marriage and family therapist in Las Vegas. I have been a member of the Independent American Party of Nevada (Nevada’s Constitution party) since 2010. I was a candidate for State assembly in 2010, U.S. Senate in 2012, and currently Governor for 2014. I received 49,000 votes in 2012 in spite of being excluded from the public debates, polls, ignored by mainstream media, having no campaign organization, and only spending $650. The truth is that my message resonates with real thinking Americans who found me through the matrix. Since the last election my message has gone viral and now my website nevadagovernor2014.com and youtube channel www.youtube.com/user/davidlory, which dwarfs Nevada’s current outgoing governor’s youtube channel who has completely failed to provide leadership of any significance. Alexa.com rates all websites and shows my campaign website to be already as popular as my opponent’s (a sitting governor), which has no substantive policy statements. I also had a popular TV show called Occupy Freedom. People appreciate what I have to say and what I am doing for our State, our nation, and our world.
One of our family names is VanDerBeek. This name is Dutch from Holland. My VanDerBeek grand parents Andy and Simone lived in Holland during World War II when the Nazis invaded their country. Many people deny the historical reality of Nazi Germany’s war crimes, but my grandparents witnessed it first-hand. The Dutch had no army or fire arms to defend themselves, so they fought with medieval weapons and were slaughtered. My grandparents did not want to be slaves in a Nazi war factory. So, Andy and Simone hid in what was called the “Dutch Underground.” They did not have food. They ate things we would never eat to survive such as orange peels, potato peels, and tulip bulbs. At the end of the war, my grandmother was pregnant and she weighed only 95 pounds. They were able to get a sponsor to immigrate to the United States in Shelley, Idaho. That is how my father’s family came to America to enjoy the Constitutional freedoms we take for granted.
On my mother’s side, our ancestors came from England, Wales, and Germany. They immigrated to the United States at different times. Pulsiphers were in Boston in 1775. David and John Pulsipher fought at the Battle of Bunker Hill in the American Revolutionary War against England. We have had ancestors serve in every major military conflict of this nation’s history. My Wadsworth ancestors came to Nevada to what became Lincoln County from Pilley, England in the 1860s. They crossed the plains as pioneers in a wagon train. They settled in Panaca, Nevada in 1867 and have lived there ever since. This makes me a sixth generation Nevadan on that Wadsworth line still residing there. My grandmother Helen LaRae Free Kerr published our Wadsworth genealogy. They came to the United States to practice their religion and settle the American West. I also have some Hispanic relatives on my mother’s side and I am fluent in Spanish. I am a Christian and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints also known as “Mormon.”
